Tours of the New Synagogue in Dresden

Tours of the New Synagogue in Dresden, organized by HATiKVA, take place Monday through Thursday from 10:00 – 16:00.
 

Pre-registration is possible Tuesdays between 10:00 and 12:00, and from 13:00 to 15:00.

Group prices are available for groups of more than 15 people.  Individuals cost 4,00 € and reduced tickets are
2.50 €.

Duration of the tours depends upon the age of the group and the particular interests of the group. On average guests should plan on 60-70 minute tours.  Guides will provide information regarding the history of the Synagogues and Jews in Dresden, an introduction to Jewish Religion, information regarding the Jewish community in Dresden today, and information regarding the architectural history of the New Synagogue.

Tours of the Jewish Cemeteries in Dresden

HATiKVA offers tours of the Old Cemetery in the Dresden Neustadt as well as tours of the New Israelite Cemetery in Johannstadt.  Tours cost 2.50 €, and 2€ for reduced tickets. For further information, please call 0351/ 8020489.
